Today's Salah Times in Dubai
Only 74 minutes between Fajr and sunrise in Dubai — every minute of consistency counts.
Sleeping in Wudu
Performing wudu before bed in Dubai shortens the gap between waking and the 04:57 takbir — and the angels make dua for the one who sleeps in wudu.
For Students
A student in Dubai who guards Fajr at 04:57 buys a quiet, witnessed study window before the city wakes.
Reading the Horizon
A clear eastern horizon in Dubai verifies 04:57 visually; obstructed views push perceived dawn 2–4 minutes later than the calculated time.
Imsak vs Fajr
Some calendars list an “imsak” a few minutes before Fajr; in fiqh, the binding cutoff in Dubai remains the 04:57 adhan itself.
Why Dubai Here
Local authorities use the Dubai method, fixing dawn at 18.2° below the horizon — that single choice produces today’s Fajr at 04:57.
Dawn at 18.2°
Today’s 04:57 occurs the moment the sun reaches 18.2° beneath Dubai’s horizon — a measurement the unaided eye cannot make, which is why the calendar matters.
30° Belt
Around the 30° belt, Fajr typically swings 60–90 minutes a year — Dubai’s 98-minute spread fits that signature.
Mountains and Horizons
In hilly parts of Dubai, sunrise visually arrives later than 06:11 — the calendar Fajr at 04:57 is unchanged, but visible dawn varies by neighbourhood.
